CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN MEDICAL SCRIBING

About The Program

Certificate Program in Medical Scribing is an industry integrated and job oriented education program.Certificate Program in Medical Scribing is a 9 months, three level certification program.

Level 1 – Duration tentatively 4 months

The first level requires the student to successfully complete a minimum of 616 hours of training Skyrise Institute of Medical Scribing, Thalassery, in order to be eligible to attempt the first level certification test (FLC Test).
Level 2 – Duration tentatively 2 months

The training for the second level certification happens at the recruiting partner’s facility in Bangalore. During this period, the students shall be paid Rs.12,000/- per month. This level is more criteria based than time based.
Level 3– Duration tentatively 2 months

This level which is also known as “Shadowing” happens at the recruiting partner’s facility located in Bangalore. The stipends paid to students during this period shall be Rs.15,000/- per month. This final level is also less based on duration and more on criteria.

Note – The students are required to pass the certification test of each level to progress to the next level.

Eligibility – Should have completed 18 years of age.

Fee Structure

In the event of a student failing to clear FLC Test in the first attempt, the student shall be provided one more chance without any extra charges. Students are allowed to attempt the FLC test a total of 5 times. There will be an examination fee of INR 500 + GST* per attempting subject, for every additional FLC Test attempted following the 2nd attempt. Though the students might be required to attempt all the subjects, they need to pay examination fee only for the subjects they failed to clear in the previous attempt.

The students shall have the freedom to opt the dates and examination center, for their additional FLC attempts, as per the dates available with CPMS India.
Level 2 & 3
There shall be no tuition fee during these levels.

PLACEMENT GUARANTEE TERMS

100% of the tuition fees shall be refunded if we fail in providing placement as an on job trainee Medical Scribe within 30 days of successful completion of Certificate Program in Medical Scribing by CPMS India. The Placement
Guarantee is based on the terms and conditions mentioned below:
1. CPMS India Placement Guarantee is valid only for students who succesfully

complete the Three Level Certification Program.
2. CPMS India Placement Guarantee is valid only to those who are found
eligible after the following procedures:

a) The recruiting partner will initiate background verification including criminal
background verification for all the CPMS students who successfully
complete the first level training program.

b) All CPMS students are required to provide all documents including but not
limited to address proof, identity proof, previous employment, educational
certificates, etc. to complete the background verification process
mentioned above.

c) All CPMS students are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
on a stamp paper during their training/advanced training and subsequent
employment with Infosense Technologies. The NDA will include a penalty
of up to USD 5,000 for breach or violation of HIPAA laws.

A Medical Scribing Specialist is a personal assistant to the physician, performing among many tasks, electronic record keeping responsibilities forthe physicians during patient encounters.This includes gathering information for the patient’s visit, performing documentation directly into the EHR in real-time, querying and using the EHR to manage the patient’s progress. An MS partners with the physician to ensure the best patient care.
